Modern Mulling Spice

We make our Modern Mulling Spice with dried apples from our certified organic orchard, heirloom rose petals from the farm, organic hibiscus and whole spices. Warm cinnamon, green cardamom, clove, allspice and black pepper are lifted by tart hibiscus and lime, while the apples and roses bring a soft, fragrant sweetness. It makes a beautiful mulled wine, but it is just as lovely simmered with cider or made into our bright non-alcoholic winter punch.

Each jar includes simple instructions for mulled wine, plus recipe cards with a few more ways to use the blend. It is the sort of thing we keep simmering on the stove when friends come over: the whole house smells wonderful, and everyone gets something warm in their hands.

For the season, Modern Mulling Spice comes in our limited-edition, constellation-printed glass jar, finished with a charming sticker on the lid. The reusable jar is our little gift to you, included at no extra charge. Once the spice is gone, simply peel off the watercolor label and give it a second life holding tea, spices, coffee or whatever else needs a beautiful home.
