    All of our products feature our deliciously tart organic apples.  After harvest, some of our apples are juiced and some are dried. The juice is either boiled down to make an apple juice syrup that we use in our caramels or is aged for a year in French oak wine barrels to create an apple cider vinegar that we use in our caramels and shrubs.  We finely grind a portion of the dried apples to sprinkle on top of our caramels while others are crushed lightly and incorporated into our granola, toffee, bark, cookies, and modern mulling spices. 

    Our products are made in small batches year round meaning that the product we ship is fresh.  Our commitment to producing high-quality treats has helped us win Good Food Awards for our Apple Cider Vinegar, Apple Cider Caramels with Rose Petals + Cocoa Nibs, and Apple Cider Caramels with Toasted Almonds.

    Our ingredients

    As farmers ourselves, we are very conscious of the farms we support when purchasing ingredients.  We base our purchasing decisions on quality of the product and of the farm.  Here are some of the ingredients we feel great about including in our products:

    Organic almonds, pecans, and walnuts are purchased directly from California farmers. This ensures the nuts we use are from the current crop instead of old and possibly rancid like when ordering from overseas or through distributors. 

    The butter and organic cream we use come from Strauss Family Creamery and Clover Stornetta Farms, which means the cows were raised and milked on family dairies a stones throw away from our orchard.

    We buy organic oats grown in Utah and California for all of our granolas through Central Milling, an employee owned and operated mill.  

    Most of our spices come from Les Sanctuaire in Santa Monica, CA whose mission is to source the highest quality cooking ingredients.  We trust their choice of farmers to source from.

    The organic wheat in our Biscotti, which we mill ourselves for each batch, comes from Eatwell Farm a diversified family farm outside of Dixon, CA.
