Ripe strawberries get a little lift from pink peppercorns in this bright, juicy shrub. The peppercorn isn’t really spicy — instead, it heightens the strawberry flavor and adds just the tiniest kick at the end. Splash it into sparkling water, mix it into cocktails and mocktails, or make an easy rosé spritzer with rosé, a splash of shrub, sparkling water, and a slice of lemon.

Our shrubs begin with apple cider vinegar made from apples grown on our certified organic farm in Sebastopol, California. From there, we add whole fresh fruit — not just juice — and just enough sugar to balance the acidity, giving each shrub layers of real fruit flavor without making it overly sweet.

Our Orchards

We grow a variety of apples: Pink Pearl, Red Rome Beauty, Yellow Bellflower, Gravenstein, and Golden Delicious, just to name a few! Sustainability is key, so our trees are rain irrigated and all of our apple pomace and waste is spread out to fertilize our trees. Peel to pip, our process is a closed loop.

Adding strawberry peppercorn shrub to my non alcoholic Amaro is sublime and creates a unique cocktail that I don't want to stop sipping. BUT sipping it straight is also a wonderful treat. it has complex wonderful flavors. I bought 2 bottles and am about to order more. I live in Vermont and first saw this Shrub in San Franscisco in a specialty cafe that sold unusual non alcoholic products. They raved about this and I came home and ordered it. My friends love it too and took pictures of the label. You will love it and be pleasantly suprised also!

Great balance

Really nice balance of strawberry flavor with just a bit of spice to keep it interesting. A real crowd-pleaser.

The most amazing vinegar shrub EVER!

When I discovered Little Apple Treats Cider Vinegar Shrub (Strawberry Pink Peppercorn), I was completely ecstatic! It is so good, I will drink small amounts for health. It's fantastic in any recipe that calls for apple cider. I've used it in dressings, homemade bar-b-que sauces, soups, and when ever I just want to uplift a recipe. This is a real keeper! You do want to refrigerate once you open the bottle as it says to do.

Great mixer

I have mixed this with both non alcoholic and regular bourbon with a splash of club soda. Both were great! Even good with just the club soda.

Very flavorful

I was pleasantly surprised at how juicy and flavorful this shrub was! The strawberry flavor was very nice, not artificial at all. I love mixing 1 oz with 16 oz of sparkling water for an afternoon pick me up.
