There's something perfect about those in-between days when you're not quite ready to let go of summer but you're craving something warmer. This mocktail captures exactly that feeling—it's our little love letter to shoulder season, when the air gets crisp but the sun still has some fight left in it.
What makes this special is how it brings together some of our favorite products in one pot. Our Modern Mulling Spice transforms plain apple juice into something deeply aromatic, while the Blackberry Lemonade Shrub adds bright fruit notes that keep it from feeling too heavy. A splash of our Original Apple Cider Vinegar ties it all together with just the right amount of tang.
The best part? You can serve it warm when you want something cozy, or chill it down when the day heats up. Either way, it's pure comfort you can share.
Shoulder Season Sipper
Ingredients:
- ½ jar of Modern Mulling Spice
- ¼ cup Blackberry Lemonade Shrub
- 2 tablespoons Original Apple Cider Vinegar
- ½ gallon fresh apple juice
Instructions: Empty jar of mulling spice into a bowl and stir well (the spices settle at the top). Use half the mixture and save the rest for another batch!
Heat apple juice to boiling, then turn off heat. Add the mulling spices and steep for 20 minutes. Strain, then stir in the Blackberry Lemonade Shrub and Apple Cider Vinegar.
Serve chilled over ice with a citrus garnish, or rewarm and serve hot. A candy cap caramel makes the perfect sweet alongside—the warm maple and vanilla flavors are magical with this drink.
